So I have to mention that I was very blessed this Christmas by my wonderful family. Everyone gave me things that I will be able to take with me on the trip!! So thank you to you all.
Honestly I think Christmas made the whole thing seem a lot more "real". See, I've been so swamped with planning all the details and finishing up the semester that the time crept right past me! I don't know how it happened... but I'm now only 10 days out from leaving. CRAZY!
I spent Christmas with my wonderful friends and family, and all I talked about with anyone was Vienna. (Not that I'm complaining!) It really forced me to take some time to think about how many "unknowns" there are in this upcoming adventure, but also how excited I am to begin!
Ok I'm starting to ramble. So to wrap up, Christmas dinner was Vienna themed this year. We had amazing food (I can't wait to eat while I'm there... I'd better get ready to start walking it off too!!) and even better company. Mom made this tort that was to die for... oh I cannot wait!! Anyway I just want to say that I'm thankful for the chance to be surrounded by such a loving and supportive family. I wouldn't be able to do this without them.
